Hilary is a Georgia native, a teacher, and a mother of three. Her background is in child development, and she is intimately involved in the curriculum, teacher training, and general education for the students in the barrio school. Hilary works closely with the director and teachers to ensure the students are getting the best education possible in Nicaragua. The goal is to turn the ministry school into an elementary school and English center in the next seven years. Hilary came to Nicaragua with her husband, Jack, for the first time in 2013. Aside from dealing with the daily educational issues in the school, she now leads several trips each year in order to expose the school and community to as much support as possible. Hilary also manages the child sponsorship program.
